Growing Together
Gardenias and violets blessed their fertile land.
Together they planted the seeds.
Each day, within their arms, they smiled
as they watched life spring forth from
their loving care. Together, proving
that light shines from the sky, as well as
through their hearts, through their fingers
and lingers there for the eyes.
They breathed a sigh, smiled, then retired
to the comfort of their home; loving arms.
