Ground Into Submissiveness

Always famine
Never feast
With dirty fingernails
And shoes with worn-out soles
And hole's in threadbare pockets
But don't knock it they say
Tomorrow is a brand new day
Ever the optimist
Blessed with eternal good luck
One day you 2 may come unstuck
Or maybe not
Its neither here no their
So it's pointless we compare
Willy Nilly
Situation's or platitude
I don't mean to be rude
But this boy is not for turning
I wish only to be left alone
As God is my witness
Misery is my mistress

A wise poem, and I really like it that this phrase "It is pointless to compare" because it is!
