Wow!! I had not heard that one. So, if you ate a banana with peanut butter, it could a really great journey in dreamland. I will have to try that one. Sometimes nights are not very restful for me. Thanks for the visit. Sara K

I read that green bananas are good for your health. Whether I'll manage to eat one is a mystery to me.

Victor, if a person is a diabetic, it is best to eat bananas slightly green because most of the sugars have not form, they are harder to digest, therefore, the sugars don't release fast into the blood to raise the glucose levels which raises the A1C. Buy them green and let them sit two days then eat them. Use them as they ripen to make banana nut bread or muffins. Sara K
