Gripping The Future
Friend from far
has come to visit
me, a long time.
We're astounding
ourselves, facing
all gray hairs.
We suddenly laugh
cause gone the days
our youthful prim.
Two cups of tea
made our hours
bright, story-telling.
He's soon to retire
in the army, I, an
ordinary citizen.
It was all end in hullabaloos
reminiscing past
and gripping our future.
