Grimlocke: the Oracle
I went to visit the man of tricks,
Who's towering authority stands at six foot six.
I sat upon his benevolent grace,
And glared upon his tattoed head and face.
"I am Grimlocke the Oracle and I see you come in peace,
And it is your future that you wish to see."
He rested his soul behind a crystal ball,
And told me to relax my head, let it fall.
Eyes peering up, I see his velvet gown,
With arms reaching out, moving around.
I watched the magical sphere come to life,
Then closed and tried to hide my eyes.
"Don't be afraid, demons and angels are in the room,
I shall share your prophecy!" Clang! Bang!! Boom!!!
With this I could feel my feet leave the floor,
Do I wish to leave or do I want more?
The air is whistling and twirling or is it me?
I hold on to the chair and pray that I will see!
Swoosh! Down I rumble and I tumble,
"Open your eyes!", he loudly grumbles.
"It's your heart!", and I see it in the glass,
"Your love for this world will everlast!"
But what does this mean? I want to know,
And then the whole room starts to glow!
"I see the one that will heal the world,
But it is not you, it is your girl!"
With that came peace and tranquility,
Then I heard the door creak as it opened up behind me.
"You did right raising the one,
Now go and let her do what needs to be done."
With that, my heart left the glass,
Replaced by a young smile that will everlast.
