Grieving of the Nether

Pretty little soul Scared of the world Afraid of the nothingness Tightly wrapping the boundaries Around you Pretty little soul Deprived of love Longing for what you lack most Searching for what you can’t find Nowhere to Pretty little soul Wishing for one truthful heart Who can see the grief! But oh what skillful smile you have People have no clue Pretty little soul Piercing holes into the future Waiting for the right path to appear But all the while the ground beneath you Vanishes too Pretty little soul What a complicated symphony Is the flow of your thoughts! Failed understandings Derails their mind from what is true Oh pretty little soul The world doesn’t give up On shaping your self In a mold to their liking Really, nothing knew Oh, oh pretty little soul All you want is time to blossom If only the world would stop Watering you whenever they please And do it only when the need is due Pretty little soul Your grieving is as visual As a photograph But still their eyes refuse to see And their feet reject your shoes Oh pretty little soul Oh pretty little soul Promises made to satisfy the world But what about your own desires? Who will compromise to them, just who? Pretty soul, pretty little soul If only one could runaway Running away, running away from expectations Suffocating is the weight of it Oh pretty little soul They, oh pretty little soul They’re stares pushing the sky on top of your shoulders Holding, holding on Surviving, surviving Is the only thing they let you do Pretty little soul Life, living, life and living What is the link between them? The search for that is as broad As the sky that is blue Pretty, petty little soul, Oh pretty little soul The lost, the unsolved souls Who hasn’t found their way Life is a grief for the nether Don’t leave your hope You need it to go through
