I map empty rooms,
marking them with your absence—
an atlas of loss.

Too many pages of sorrow. Too many rooms revisited without finding what is sought. I know the feeling.

I’m really touched by your words. It means so much to know that the poem resonated with you. Sometimes those pages of sorrow and empty rooms are all too familiar, and it’s comforting to know others can relate. Thank you for sharing that with me.
