Grief Like a Woven Thread

Grief,

like a woven Thread,
Binds together everything,

A fragile flower,
Its bright petals,

Opening
to meet the sun above,

Blown gently by the breeze.

A Grief,
Stitched with love,

with
hope,

Pulling, Stretching,

Bringing together
broken dreams,

and for a moment
We find

shape
