Grief
The Great ship "Grief" was sinking.
I was no longer manning the ship.
I was looking out a window filled with sun and branches.
"Grief" and all those people,
Will sink to the bottom
While I drink beer in a chalice in another world,
Where the tears of grievers dry like sins forgiven.
I've made it to special shore, yes, in body and spirit,
Where lives float like braided links of light
And sorrow is seen as an entitlement to any viewer
Of love's full scope.
