Grief

Dressed up, but no one cares
or sees the black shroud
clinging ‘round my heart
grief rises like great waves
crashing, deep and heavy
I miss you, momma.

I don't know how recent your mom's passing happened to be, but the loss of one's parents is a very difficult loss. I still after both of them after 30 years and 28 years with dad passing first. I think of them every day. I hope that you feel the comfort that only God through Jesus is Son can give in your grief. Sara K

Thank you, Sara. Mom died just a few months ago in December. It’s been a hard loss for me. We were very close. Thank you for your caring words! God bless.

I miss my mother too Laura, there’s no love like a mother’s love. A mother is a teacher a healer and a nurse too, always there with a love so true… Beryl

Thank you for your kind words, Beryl. Mothers are so special and truly impact our lives. It’s just been a few months since I lost my mom. It’s been hard for me.
