Grief
Grief, a word I’ve never explored .
Now seeing the dark side of the moon,
I don’t wonder about tomorrow.
Today can’t end to soon.
Tears and tears unbounded,
I know they go unheaded.
But flow and flow and flow
As if on thirsty ground their needed.
My heart is open to see
But no-one stops to look.
I long to put this away,
Like a closing chapter in a book.
They say that love is noble…
That for love you should wish the best.
But my soul crys out for ME,
I see that I cannot meet this test.
