GREYHOUND BUS ACQUAINT SONG

GREYHOUND BUS ACQUAINT SONG

Know the Greyhound bus well
Travelled as a kid
Grandma and I
Venturing here and there
America in Greyhound’s eyes
Miles after miles
Reclining back
Days and nights
The Greyhound Bus kicking up dust
Through the sunset ride
Picture perfect
Hound Bus showing the way
Each and every day
Towns and Major city waves
Message so clear, “You all behave”
Greyhound bus through the mountains and extending from the valleys
Greyhound Bus Driver journeys end
The passenger’s friend
From the Open and close of the door
From Welcome aboard
Too Thanks for going Greyhound
The Greyhound bus I remember as a kid
That Greyhound Dog stretch trademark
Accelerating and ride direct
Greyhound bus being my friend
Will always be
Greyhound and me.
