Grey Area

The Truth of the matter
Amidst Lies getting fatter
Is that THIS will all shatter,
And one day we'll fall

We'll master Disaster
And crash that much faster
Our remains left scattered
In the Ruin of All

You still are touching people. You attained immortality through words and deeds.

Still missing you, sweet Chan. Will never forget the sweetness you graced me with, whether it was through soupmails, or kind commentary on my work...you were my friend. I felt a true connection to your soul. I love you, Chan. Will see you soon enough...soon enough! Love always, Laura

Miss you so much. I'm trying to be a better person. I almost heard you today, calling me "Miss Thing" in that lovely way, all those kind words. That's what I remember most about you... your overwhelming kindness. I know you are in a good place. You have to be.

Chan, you have now passed on to the next life. I just learned this at Deb's blog. I feel sad that I did not know you better. I see this is your last poem. You are in a place now where you can see plainly the black and white. You have escaped the grief of this world. I know things were hard for you and I am saddened we did not get to see more of you before your death. Hope you are looking down and can read my remarks. Only the good die young, Chan, and you are an example of that.

The truth will always fight it's way free, and when it does we had better be ready for the aftermath.... I loved these wise words, BP! A terrific poem! :)
