Grey
grey kisses her cloud
and I stand in the solitude
under the barren span
veined with drear
awaiting to pounce
on the lonely
darkness turns up the dial
exposed to the consternation
of the damned
life be damned
as salt reaches down
the corners of my being
is that all I am
a wandering being?
purpose proposed to the night
an offering of hopes
too small
I am too small
under duress
a starless sky
wondering
will there ever be light
