As I mourn the end of my marriage An era of ups and downs Good times and bad times New heights and extreme lows First, I was upset Denying the marriage was bad Then the sadness crept in Why us? We've been together so long My emotions, I looked for peace of mind But anxiety crept deeply in The loneliness, realizing I was alone The confused though,t what now? Working through this roller coaster Taken to different heights I accepted the stages and strived for the highest peak I am at peace with it now as I speak
