Welcome comrads ghost and ghouls tis the bewitching hour the time of our rule let us be shadows and eyes in the night let us give the living a hell of a fright be not kind to little boys and girls step into their dreams make them all screem be not friends to sissys and cowards visit each one hour after hour and when you see someone alone keep them company but be not shown a glimps of a shadow a bump in the night a chill in the wind a mysterious light make them believe that noise is not a mouse and give them the greif of living in a haunted house

John, I enjoyed this spooky poem. I'm laughing. We lived in a hounted house for 15 years!!! The ole radio would come on downstairs when no one was there. Guests from my daughters' slumber parties heard steps behind them on the stairs. Someone grabbed my leg as I went down those stairs, too. And guess who it was. One of those ghost frightened girls and a crowd of laughter. Have a great day! Lovingly, Dane

Frightfully spooky, John! Those things that go bump in the night make me pull the covers over my head. Great description of life in a "haunted house." Love, Carolyn

I considered opening a haunted house once. The insurance was too costly and the help just kept disappearing. :))-AA
