Greet the Morning

Morning comes with hope renewed
Yesterday's woes fade away
Cool morning breeze and misty dew
Produces gratitude for this new day

A'ho Grandfather, your child am I
Who sings a song of devotion
Carried by winged ones to the sky
As I face the rising sun

I am only one voice
Among many in this world below
But it is always my choice
To give the respect that I'm shown

As the sun lights up the clouds
I stand with my hands raised
And pray Great Spirit out loud
Unashamed with your praise

May this day be as it will
Whatever you desire it to be
No matter, I will keep gratitude still
Emenv, it will be well with me.
