Greet Pain With a Grin
dog me i might embark
your tricks are getting old
my canines dripping wet
bloodline of iron, not gold
never say im a pet
harder to use than some tools
youre confused if you knew
somehow I would stay fooled
no nonsense im into application
not here for validation
im a living being, chasin dreams
end of conversation
lay down only when I am seeking rest
stand up in moments i am not my best
a hardship a lesson sound
all of the poison downed
euphoria a fluffy cloud
till morning becomes too loud
drink up
im the lone wolf who joins the crowd
catharsis below this ground
i challenge the leash and shroud
figure the heads will catch me
fight them remaining feral
freedom just a sample
of immortals without a peril
bite because talking settles
im walking on awkward metals
stalking with an awesome bellow
justified saying hell no
my self will not be shaped or contained
manipulated, shamed or explained
my gross domestic is inches of skin
scorpion tested im bathing in sin
out of the rubble, intestines, and grim
somehow still subtle,
now i can greet pain with a grin
