Green Planet Denial

Make believe times are not bad? Conform to the crushing ruin of our land? How can I see this, and not ask why? Freedom's loss deserves a hue and a cry! Alas, I have seen few poets respond to it. Lost in flowers, skies and fantasy, intoxicated by the very hum of it. As if we somehow think this serves humanity. That we believe somehow, In our poetic divinity? Living on this awesome, Green Planet Denial! When unhappy~ we just change the dial! As we become more Red, by the minute. Seduced by those lies, that "free everything,"has magic in it? Subjected to untruths that one group is better than another? Straight out of a Karl Marx handbook,oh my, I do shutter! 7/25/2021 ~2~

Indeed, Elena. And our health.we are so lied to! And the lie is so scary people are ill. Children and adults have killed themselves during this Scare Season. God is dead. Grandparents are prisoners cannot see their kids or grandkids. Their suicide numbers are climbing. Murder of an elder soul. I call it sinful.Why not just shoot them? Maybe the government will do that Never saw Americans this unbalanced and liars. I remember the days whenDemocrats were quite sane, no more.They are now robotic, Masters of the Universe. I was a Democrat for years. We did not hate the GOP. Congress, Elena was once a sane place. Not anymore. Gestapotactitis has set in. Waiting for a firing squad on the Hill. Pangie

Folks might not believe you or I. Of course it is, Hope they enjoy suddenly disappearing or having organs removed. Many here need to get a Mao jacket, they are Wuhanistic poets. Frightening We love China over the USA or the free world, Pangie

I have written much about my heartache for our Earth and what we are doing to it. Before I found soup most of my poems were about that. Soup has inspired me to write more about flowers and skies, but also let me know that my short form style is loathed by many and that I am going to hell lol

We all get loathed here, Maureen. For various reasons. Just be true to what works for you. Pleasing others wHY? A poet deserves respect.There are exceptions! I understand how popularity here trumps all. That’s not what you write for. I know you pen from the heart. I salute that quality. Neither do you write to impress others.Cheers Pangie xxoo.

Many on both sides of the divide point out problems. Few point to solutions. That's my take these days. If I don't have a better solution, I don't add to the noise. ~ Just sayin'

You must not be watching the news! One side has all the answers, no humility, arrogance that reeks and have replaced God, the commandments and are overthrowing the USA. We are slaves to lies. We won’t stand up. Scared we Will be disliked. Communication of all ideas is key to this Republic. And being squelched by cracked folks in DC. We had better talk or end up being done away with. Prince! How did I miss your comment? Sorry. My error. Nero was fiddling.Today is a female..Pelosi shredding the Constituton along with the Squad AND her followers who post here. You won't find many beacons here. I tried. I know who Conservatives are here. Siding with PElosi. Will not stand for the right to life. Closet Conservatives, perhaps. Fallen under the spell of the great orator Amerca ever knew, vaccine Joe? Yes, they copped out to being liked...here and never mind America. It's the Great ME show. Ego over country.
