Green Flash

Hey green flash let me talk to you Please don't say good bye, I've been waiting for so long now it's time to taste the marshmallows and fly my kite, Protect my receptors of pain while I take a bite, Let me walk the path of soothing sensations , dreams and fantasies while I stop my cries, Wipe my tears, fill my lungs with air or magic puff, tell me all about my mind and stuff, Send me adrift to contemplate the beauty of trees and leaves falling away, Aid my hand to set in ink my deepest thoughts Cries of help and screams of joy, anxious calls from these games oh boy, Let me walk on clouds instead of crashing into walls, help me walk and eat to not fall in this abysmal hole, Please visit long, the clock is ticking I haven't got much time, be my savior when the road gets tough, My green ol' buddy you bring to me what gravity brings to the universe Cohesion to remain together 'til my lungs collapse and rot away, So please green flash I don't want to say good bye, make me smile one more time before my eyes want to rest to let others live by.

Interesting poem, Erwing. : ) I've looked, but am not sure I've really seen it. Yet the western ocean was oh-so-nice anyway.
