Green Eggs and Poetry
I will write poems here and there;
I will write poems everywhere.
I will write poems on a boat;
it will be much harder on a goat.
If I sit upon some hay,
I could write about the break of day.
When I ride upon my big yellow bus,
I talk to the kids so they don't fuss.
Writing poetry is my thing to do,
it helps to make sure I am not blue.
I will write poetry in my brain;
I will write poetry on an airplane.
And now the day is old and through,
this silly poem popped in my head brand new.
