Green

Green Crisp Emerald foliage adorn timber wood Fresh, lush , meadows spring in season Its blades navigate terrain Parrot recite and chant ,echoing tongues Making language its own Squeaky false leaves and muddy ones dissolve from top, to seed to root Sharp, tender, sweet ,spinach, kale , dandelion greens Our daily bread and grace Old age, raw, green to gray, oh the glory that fades Marckincia Jean Free verse 05/06/2023
