Greed

Sometimes I wonder, wonder and wonder
Why man, why he falls so low
Give him the abundance of water
He would ask for the Land of drought
Give him a full bowl of tasty meat

He would ask for a calabash of army worms
Give him the way to a happy life
He would ask for the way to sudden death
Give him the path to peace
He would ask for the path to war

Give him the power to lead
He would ask for the power to corrupt
Give him eternity in heaven
He would ask for eternity in hell
Give him a kingdom

He would ask for a shed
Give him the blessing of God
He would ask for the curse of the devil
Oh yea, give him something
And he would ask for everything

Man oh man, man oh man
No matter how you treat him
No matter what you give him
He will never be satisfied
