Cup of coffee, start your day
with the slanted morning news
Brainwashing will now begin
any channel that you choose
Practice makes things perfect
time after time again
Eventually believable
it's not just who or when
ABC & CBS
NBC & More
FOX & TELE MUNDO too
all claim they know the score
Of course they call it brainwashing
no research done, just spew
Soon you'll argue they are right
won't matter it's not true
The more you watch and listen
the more you're left behind
You think you know what's really right
but it's playing on your mind
Evening news (time to retire)
implanted for the night
Fall asleep your mind is full
you believe by morning light.....
