Great Moments In Chat
At my age you trickle the tap less
to keep down the cost. You do things
like that, and you
quote, work for a living, end quote.
I know things. I know the price of running the
thermostat at sixty-eight degrees for a typical
day in December
in the mountains
in Appalachia.
I can tickle tell you
an eighteen pound turkey bird
takes five freaking days to thaw
out in the fridge. You see?
I quote, know things, end quote.
People like me give the best advice, too. We are,
to steal a line from Georges Handel and the Bible,
wonderful counselors, although I do not claim
to be the Almighty,
nor the Prince of Peace,
nor does the government rest upon my shoulders.
I would like to think so of myself, though. How I enjoy the thought of it!
