You allow us to picture the mountain in all its glory, Robert, and I love the last line. Indeed, I hope we are all forever blessed. Wonderful haiku, my friend. Love, Carolyn

Robert, good job. You have reminded me of the great mountain there in Japan. I could see it from my hotel window in Tokyo in the 1950. Many years later I bought a Fuji bicycle which still runs good. You asked about my poem Eve of Purple Leaves. I had no concious pattern from which to write it. If it is somewhat similar to something else written I am not aware. Thanks for dropping by for a read.

Glad to hear about the famous mountain in Japa. When I was there it dominated the view south of Tokyo. I have a Fuji bicycle and it is well made.
