Great Expectations

What kind of sorcery is this?
Why would you love anyone unconditionally?
Do you expect him to change into a prince?
I do not know but it is a start, right?
Yes, it is.

Caren, I like this poem. I also liked Dickens' novel, by the same name, back in High School. The search goes on. -Richard

Thank you Richard. Short but fun. I love succinct stuff, and the pun on Dickens was a coup.

Yes, it is. It's a royal magic that has the same nature as the creation of the world. I'm sure you know it, Caren. Who if you don't?

Yep, he may be a prince, but what kind of prince. Most are less than perfect, as are all the rest of us. Good write.
