Great Energy
What great energy
existed
way back then
and what
or who
thrust it out
in all
directions
with
unimaginable speed
How
was that energy
transformed
becoming matter
gaining mass
Was it
by design
determination
destiny
or
random behavior
of the elements?
Carbon
oxygen
hydrogen
acting
interacting
in all things.
Forming bodies
heavenly
earthly
Creating
evolving.
Giving us
life
giving us
home.
Dropping us
down
in the
Great
Rift Valley
to start
our journey
to somewhere
or nowhere.
