Gray Sheets

You always read about it
People starve and fall in a dark pit
while those in power just stare and spit
That story

You always hear about it
The poor only hopes for a bit
while the wealthy gains the big hit
That story

Those stories
When you walk on that empty street
are written on the papers wrapped on a dirty kit
...that is where you always read about it
