Gray Morning

Awaken to gray morning
To the kettle and the cup
Searching about for my wits
I ousted the night before

A hopeful cloudy day
Will my fears bind me tight
Looking about for my words
I misplaced the night before

My illusions bring me more
Dare dreaming another life
Holding back my heart
I dropped the night before

Headlong do I dive
Into unknown secret place
I covet loving dreams
I hid the night before

Sharing private thought
Only the pen doth see
Giving them away to you
I lost the night before
