Gravity's Rainbow

Im not breathing unless it's raining. There is no more containing. There is nothing left remaining. Blame it on the stars. Blame is on the scars. Blame it on the cigars. Not a dollar or a crowd could ever keep me here. This feeling i feel is severe. Don't hate me my dear. I never really had a chance. One more dance. They say you go through a trance. To get to the other side. There is no guide. The forbidden truth, they hide. You're the only reason I would want to get caught in the rain. Stand in the rain, Stand through the pain. You cant rid these thoughts from my brain. Back into the earth's dirt. Death won't be able to have me convert. Spirits you can not hurt. A single tear drips from your eye. It's okay to say goodbye. For it is my time to die.
