Graveyard of the Sea

looking beyond the edge of the sea
I wonder why I cannot imagine its plea
if the voices I hear are from the waves
they speak of the truth about the empty graves
the treacherous journeys of many a ship
lost from the moon in its maiden trip
countless ships downed and many poor souls
descending to the graveyard bed which it holds
the sea is without mercy upon those untimely fates
their faith in God ushers them to the gates.
