Grave Whispers
Nestled beneath apathy dull
lavender lies still in dried tears
suitors dismiss truth as impasse
Love strangled from pure streaming veins
thoughts empty hearts in cold graveyards
night unleashing fear and despair
Shatter mirrors of hurt and pain
ache to foresee treacherous games
seeking breaths waiting to exhale
Pray your lonely whispers escape
time, as answers begin travel
inside thoughts surrounding God’s light.
