Gratitude

Sometimes it’s hard to hold back tears of overwhelming joy,
as I ponder on all of my blessings, makes me as excited as a child with a brand-new toy.
As I gaze at the clear blue sky so pristine above
It makes me think of the Lords ever abounding love.

When I witness the wonder in rolling fields of wheat,
I know that without the love of God, I am incomplete.
I know the comforter who resides within my heart.
I give thanks first thing when I awake for the presence of a brand new start.

God is faithful and will not tempt us beyond what we can bear,
So with all my possessions and talents, I gladly share.
I search not for glory nor honor, riches or fame,
But in all the days of my life, I shall give God all the glory and praise his holy name.

This just went on my favorite list Wayne. Its truly incredible. May I copy it? I would love to send it to my family in the USA, to show them the incredible poetry I get to read on Soup. I will keep a little copy in a frame for myself too with your permission. Its beautiful, and everything I believe.
