Gratitude
GRATITUDE
Do you really have to wait for Thanksgiving Day
to express your gratitude or to be thankful?
We have many things to be thankful for each day.
Look around you and at your surroundings
and be grateful for what you have
and appreciate the beauty of nature.
Remember all the good memories
and picture all the important people you have
as well as the good people who came your way.
Take a moment of silence and be still
and open your heart and your mind
in giving thanks and in developing a thankful attitude.
Think of the smiling faces of loved ones
and the special little things they do for you
that tickle your heart or touch your soul
or make you feel good and grateful.
Gratitude enriches your relationships
for it is an act of love and communication.
When your heart and mind are filled with gratefulness,
appreciation automatically shows and flows.
Thanks for everything regardless of your feelings.
Say “thanks” and be thankful every day
and take a moment at the end of the day
to saturate your mind of thankful thoughts.
A grateful heart is good for your soul.
A thankful mind-set enhances your wisdom.
Open your whole self to thankfulness
for a grateful attitude changes your perspective
in life and builds up the gratitude in you.
Gratitude you can spread around you
to inspire others to be thankful, grateful.
