Grateful
a cool mountain breeze
as we finish our hike
a tall glass of water
to quench my thirst
a monsoon rain to
heal the desert cracks
a night full of stars
that leaves me in awe
a career move that
turns out right
a friend like you
in times of despair
a tight family bond
cemented with love
help from above with
the choices I make
starting something new
which is just what I need
a list for miles
just a few above
these are some of the things
I am grateful for
