Grandpas True Love

i remember a long time ago when i first met the love of my life
she was wearing a beautiful dress
i knew she would be my wife
her hair long flowing locks
my first reaction my jaw dropped

i introduced myself as i walked across to her
hello miss my name is johnny
she smiled and i smiled back
there i go up an old dirt road on a catallac

i took your grandma out to the movies
we had popcorn and drink
does not seem so long ago as i sit back and think
she was such a kind woman

i was such a lucky man one year later down the isle holding her hand
i miss here so much now a days
she is smiling down on me from up above

that is where she is my true love
