Grandparents

Grandma came with Grandpa too
Hooray, Hooray, Hooray
They settled in and settled down
Two lovebirds on display

O happily we cherish them
O how we love them so
Because their hearts are full of love
For everyone they know

They wear a warm and friendly smile
Through stormclouds full of rain
And when the world is cold outside
The day is not in vain

They read to us and play our games
And show us how to live
And by the way they share with us
They have so much to give

In everything they do for us
They set a happy mood
Of peace and love and sacrifice
And lots of tasty food

O what a happy life we lead
For when the day is done
Our grandparents are practically
Like parents having fun!

this is adorable and I think would be really fun in a children's book of poetry!
