Grandpa and I

Grandpa took me to the ice cream store. On my tricycle, yes, I was well_loved! What girl in braids, could ask for more? There were comic books there, too. Pedaling along, in my white sandaled shoes. And yes, paste and new pencils, too. Friendly butterflies and lovely, tall trees Birds of all sizes, that chirped so merrily. What lovely days~that gave birth to poetry. 3/5/2023

Hello Darlene! Thank you for your loving visit. I was very close to Grandpa. He was much fun.and all the kids wanted to sit on his lap at one time. He’d laugh and we’d all take over his lap.I never saw him, sad or angry …..though his wife died and he lost four children! If there is a Santa Claus, he was my Greandpa. 365 days a year, he died when I was 12. My life ended that day….hugs, Pangie xx

Hi Stephan..I can close my eyes and still hear the bell on the handlebars of my tricycle. And the sound of grandpa’s cane as it touched the welcoming, SAFE streets of Chicago. The bells of the Church rang at noon each day. Our lives were centered about Church. Bless you. Pangie xx

Yes’m what a lovely man. Have never met a man so popular mellow and loved by everyone. Collecting money at Sunday Mass when he walked with a cane? Now hard to get people near a church.also, was quite deaf. But never saw someone snake much, soup me please .as to celebration. Thanks Linda Pangie xo
