Grandma Maggie

I still wish you could visit
though thoughts have lessened
of my worries about you, 
you're dearly, most heavily missed. 

You of many talents,
the anchor of this once warm home
surely your time was overdue,
for you have outdone yourself, in all ways. 

Missed are days of your comfort,
laughter to my own madness,
your wisdom in advice,
not much seems to make sense now. 

I hope heaven serves well,
the best treatment for your soul,
love, light and good times,
all for you and your own. 

Until then, until then.
