GRANDKIDS MAKE ME SMILE
My grandkids make me smile
In everything they do
My whole life happiness revolves around them
Each day when they come over
My heart grows closer to them
Deep down we share so much
I feel a connection when we talk and play
Every time I look in their eyes
I can just about guess what's on their mind
Sometimes what they say or do
It makes me smile and laugh
Most of the day my grandchildren are on my mine
And each day I look for that big hug
A lot of times I learn from them
Maybe it is something I never expected from them
And that will always make me smile
My grandkid's smiles give me a bright soul
That is worth more than any gold
