Notes About The Poem

Grandfather and his cursed fortune through black magic

Grandfather and his cursed fortune through black magic Patrick opened hell through magic He willed a door open Tried to reach for the coins of gold in a pot He went blind reaching for it But still managed to reach inside of the pot And pull some out which fell in his daughter’s lap He tried to close the door but he fell in To the dark side He couldn’t stop all the things hitting him Needles, sticks and darkness A demon approached and told him he has to be free of sin To close the door and pay rent or it will be passed through his family line. Pay back all he took It made no sense to him he couldn’t close the door Grandfather died a wicked death the debt passed on His daughter had to pay it back and close Hell She spent it, and tried to hide the fact by not telling anyone She flat refused and died a wicked death But she passed the gold on to her son Until the demon came back for it Every time the person would die he would ask his descendants And he advised them all how to pay Or their souls will be forever held in hell And no one would pay it back They were hoping no one will find out but are struck with ill fate. Until her daughter felt such bad luck the demon approached He said pay only your share And walk out the darkness with your children And I’ll close the door. Only your share and showed her where a vision of where the dead ones are She paid and walked away.
