Grandchildren

I was so involved in my own life
I never took time to look outside myself
Now with my eyes are open I can enjoy the simple things
I notice the leaves on the tree change and fall
I noticed the clounds as the storm rolled in and then passed
I could enjoy the chrisp wind that blew on my face
Then I closed my eyes and was thankful for who I was today and all my faults because I know I'm not perfect
But at the end of the day I'm perfect in their eyes
                                    MY GRANDCHILDREN

Well - this is something I can certainly relate with...a very sweet poem...and isn't it true that as we get older, the more we are able to see in everything - maybe it's that old adage that age brings If you can, can read "My Sweet Juliet Rose," I wrote it for a grand-daughters too.
