Grandchildren

Grandchildren are such a joy
First a girl then a boy

Tears and laughter joy and pain
out walking yet again

My heart is lifted every day
watching when they jump and play

Swings and roundabouts
tunnels too new adventures to go through

Dale Sam Amy too
then baby Thea joined the queue

Theres one more waiting in the wings
that will surely liven things

With my dodgy hips knees and bones
My grandchildren will keep me on my toes

Leaving little time for woes
