Grammy Number One

Shout out to my depression
My best friend
It takes courage to live
But we take living for granted
Until a pandemic comes along and puts everyone in a panic
Translation we come back down to earth
The place where we live but often act like it's not where we're from
Many people walk around with more what ifs in their thoughts than what should be
And I'm one of them but don't want to be
Shout out to all the writers hoping to take a shot of their desired beverage from their Grammy
One day that will be me
And I hope to see you there
Took almost dying to realize I still wanted to be alive
Funny how life works, and we forget how to laugh until everything feels perfect
So, this I urge you never forget
You are a million dollars just living everyday
Just don't forget to cash the check
You got to believe until you give up everything you have left
Life can be so bleak
p.s. you are just a seed wanting to grow wings...
