Gramma's Kitchen

I recall the long bike ride
Across town
As I pulled my mower
To Gramma's house

I recall it was a small yard
That was worth
Two fried apple pies
From Gramma's stove

I recall the smell of spice
The powdered sugar
The love, the laughter
From Gramma's kitchen
