Grains

They sailed for a while on a sea of blue numerous pebbles lined the shore touching depths and casting shadows the endless waves carried them for a while gentle at first then increasing in magnitude brushing and pushing, polishing through years of trials the more it brushed and polished the further apart they became different currents pushed and pulled tugging in all directions the more they struggled to float the more they were pulled under until they became stranded upon the shore would the waves pull them out once again or would they be lost forever in the grains of sand.
