Gracefully Ageless
We are born
It’s a miracle at best,
From tiny little seeds
Then in God’s hands we rest,
As we grow into our toddler stage
We walk and run and fall,
And then before you know it
We’re a tween and very tall,
Soon we find our self in college
An independant twenty one,
Then we move on to relationships
The single party days are done,
We work through life and time goes by
Managing jobs and mortgage debt,
We try to plan our future best
And children we are soon to get,
The hair is thinning and the weight goes on
As we glance in the mirror a story is told,
If we are lucky many years have gone by
In good health, and grow gracefully old.
