Grace

Full of beauty and full of grace
The little stray black kitten
Brought a smile to my face

She showed up out of the blue
Thought she was the last thing
I needed, She knew the opposite to be true

I was determined to find her a home
She was determined to convince me
That she WAS already home

At a point in my life, I’d never felt colder
She tried to tell me she was my angel
Always had to sit on my shoulder

She was a blessing in disguise
She knew how to read me
Could see the sadness in my eyes

Solid black with a white star on her chest
Tiny kitten, runt of the litter
I never thought by her, I’d be so blessed.
