Falling into Water

Government

Our president sat on a wall
Our president had a great fall
All the Towers and all the powers
Couldn't repair as his face sours

Another president sits on the wall
I wonder will he have a great fall?
As our posterity(children's children's grandchildren0
Pay back forever our non-austerity with asperity

It is desperately upsetting. Our nation was like the beautiful eagle, which represents us, we the people. It feels like it's being destroyed. It's left and right wings shooting darts at each other, wounding the nation through it's very heart. Our beautiful, precious country, our people....we must not be divided. My dad use to tell us bickering kids "Straighten up and fly right!" His words should be heard by the Eagles 'head' and it's 'wings'. Free to fly in love and respect, undivided! <3

Thank you for the nice comment here. I do wish that there could be a whole lot less bickering and more action. I know they are going to disagree but it could be more private and less public then behind closed doors work something out. Sara..I am definitely not presidential material and don't mind saying so. I believe the governor of our state would make a great President and I would back him. I truly think he would be a gifted candidate.

WE have not had a good president in years, or may I even say in decades!! I pray for the fall of this one right now. He is a real humpty dumpty for sure. (good poem)

Andrea, The question is: How long has it been since we had a decent God fearing man as president? I know it seems to be getting worse instead of better. We need a really strong man who loves God and will fight for what is right. Thanks for the visit and the uplifting comment. Sara
